About this project
Help Big Dawg Productions, a non-profit theater company, raise $2,950 to fulfill our goal of bringing quality community theater to an underserved area of Wilmington, NC.
We have been producing entertaining, thought-provoking and socially responsible theater for the past fifteen years, and finally, two years ago, we moved into our new home on Castle Street, in the heart of the up and coming Art and Antique District of downtown Wilmington, transforming a former department store into an intimate 50 seat black box theater.
We are making great progress but we need your support for additional construction and remodeling projects, including renovating our lobby, and upgrading our sound board.
Our growth will be so greatly enhanced by your contributions, and remember, every dollar pledged gets us closer to our goal of bringing inspirational and affordable live theater to our community, in a refurbished, intimate and transformational setting.
Some of the artistic works we will be producing this season include the brilliant Neil Simon farce Rumors; the comedy The Hallelujah Girls; Murder By Natural Causes in the fall; and the classic The Diary of Anne Frank.
So please join your fellow theater lovers in making a pledge to our Kickstarter Campaign, aptly called Renovation and Innovation. Our goal is a modest one. Together we can reach and then surpass our target, and contribute to improving the cultural fabric of our society.

Big Dawg Productions is not your average community theater company. Our mission goes beyond a commitment to providing leading-edge and critically acclaimed live theater. We also believe in education, and in nurturing the next generation of playwrights, and we are proud to have presented, for the past 14 years, our annual New Play Festival.
