It's been a long time coming and we're halfway there... I need your help with the rest!
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my Kickstarter campaign! This is to raise money for the recording, mixing and mastering of my new yet-to-be-titled CD, or more specifically, the second half of the recording.
Here's the story... Earlier this year I started working with well-known producer Mike Flanders and our goal was to make a lyrically strong and musically interesting CD together. I went to work writing like crazy with everyone that I could and came up with a batch of songs that we both felt very strongly about, and I began 'road-testing' them - playing them at gigs everywhere I went - and the response has been overwhelming!
The style that I'm going for is Americana - and Americana is a little bit of everything - rock, country, blues - which suits me to a tee! I'm very happy with the results so far - here's a couple of samples!
We managed to get half of the CD done and the money ran out. In total, the project will cost $20,000 and that's why I'm asking for your help to raise half. With your help we'll get it done sooner than later!
The way that Kickstarter works is that you'll be charged only if all $10,000 of my goal is met. If my pledges only reach $9999, then I'll get nothing at all. If I surpass my goal, then all the money raised will go right into promotion - video, website, etc

To be honest, the 'Risks and Challenges' section of this page baffled me for a day or two. There aren't really any risks - only levels of success.
If the Kickstarter campaign is successful, then the CD will be released in April of 2013, followed by a lot of touring and promotion.
I believe that we can do this!
