Hello World, we are White Rainbows, a queer-themed sketch group established in 2009. We are a diverse group of individuals, gay and straight, and all devoted to truth through humor, embracing both the silly and the provocative.

Our new sketch show, “Big Gay Pudding” is in the middle of development and the rehearsal process. We’ve been working on it for the past couple of months and couldn’t be more excited to perform it in October at The Call Bar in the Andersonville neighborhood in Chicago.

There's just one problem...We don't have a stage!

White Rainbows has stepped up to design and build this stage for The Call Bar not only for our upcoming show in October, but also as a commitment to increasing performance spaces and artistic endeavors in the community of Andersonville. This stage will benefit our group, The Call Bar and everyone who performs there.

Because we are an independent comedy troupe looking to do good for our community, Kickstarter.com has given us the opportunity to raise money using their fundraising platform. They believe a good idea communicated well can spread fast and wide and a large group of people can be a tremendous source of money and encouragement.

Our goal is $300 and if everyone donates $2 we will have more than enough to build this modest theater space. Please donate any amount you can. The more you donate the better the prizes will be! You can look to the right to see the rewards that are available. If we don’t reach $300 by the deadline you don’t get charged and you don’t pay any money.

So please help us, local performers, and The Call create this new performance space. If you pledge there’s all kinds of great rewards for you and others. Not to mention the bonus Karma Points and amazing street cred.
