Asheville Rock trio, Pick Your Switch is bringing their music to you! Looking for backers to support our independent summer tour!
PIck Your Switch is planning their first of many tours this summer from July 15th to August 6th. Embarking from Asheville, NC, they will be going everywhere from New Orleans to St. Louis to Philadelphia to Nashville and a lot of other cities along the way.
This first endeavor has been well thought out and strives to be business savvy. As a relatively new outfit, Pick Your Switch is not looking to go off to Portland or California just for the experience or to say they did it. The band can not, for now, expect to return to those places in a reasonable time frame to maintain any momentum and interest. With that in mind, the tour destinations are a radius of no more than ten hours from Asheville.
Pick Your Switch can, throughout the rest of this year and into next, continue to follow up and book those cities on this tour with long weekends to maintain the buzz and momentum they generate. As that momentum and buzz builds, the radius will widen.
In keeping with our strong business plan for success, a tour van is the smartest, most efficient means to facilitate this aspect of the band's endeavor. Once acquired, we plan on tricking it out to hold our gear, be a place to sleep when we come to a new city, and also to foster a comfortable atmosphere on the road to create new music on the way to new towns.
