I illustrated this fairy tale scene with paper sculpture. Now, it’s time to get it out to the world!
I want to make beautiful artwork that will be seen by many many people. This money will go toward the cost of making prints of my art so that it can reach a wider audience.
My medium is paper sculpture. I have been making bas-relief paper sculptures since 2000. The original works of art are expensive to buy, and I would like to produce lower-priced prints so that more people can afford my artworks.
For my latest piece I illustrated a scene from Little Red Riding Hood.
Here is a link to that image: http://www.flickr.com/photos/papernoodle/4951703722/
I sculpted the scene from paper then photographed the sculpture. I’m very pleased with the result, and would now like to print the image with archival ink on good paper. If this print is popular, I would like to create more illustrations from fairy tales, and produce more prints of those sculptures.
It you’d like to see more of my artwork, you can find it here: http://www.papernoodle.com and also here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/papernoodle/
