Kickstarter

It's time for the third project update! We are extremely excited going into these last few days of the Kickstarter campaign - we are closing in on our funding goal of $8,500 and are confident that our efforts over the last three weeks will help pull us across the finish line. But, we aren't sitting patiently waiting for Sunday night! We are feverishly reaching out to as many new communities and networks as we can to make one last push down the homestretch. We are proud to let everyone know that we've reached $7,100 and over 100 backers! Every pledge is extremely generous and as a whole we've started an amazing community that has a tremendous opportunity to make a real difference. Again, we can't thank everyone enough!

As we mentioned in our last update, there was some exciting stuff planned for this week that we promised would be fun and engaging.   We pulled together a group of about 10 of our friends - a few of which had not seen the GULA recipe before - and cooked a big dinner for everyone. We brought along the visual recipes for a chicken and white wine with rice meal and a sage pork chops with fried potatoes meal. We left the text recipes at home. We had a phenomenal experience that produced some amazing tasting food and the video update speaks for itself. We even caught some honest feedback from our chefs!

We also mentioned that more publications were in the works with food bloggers around the country. We had a second post written about our Kickstarter project from the blog Wine a Bit. The link is on our facebook page - www.facebook.com/gularecipe - and the post is similar to last week's publication, but includes a great introduction from a mother about how the GULA project fits perfectly with family cooking nights. We're thankful for these opportunities and are excited that another five publications are in the works. We can't wait to see what more food experts have to say about us!

It's time to make one final push to fund this project. In these last few days, please reach out to close friends and family and say that you've donated to our project and that they should too! Walk them through the easy donation process and try to bring in one more member to our growing GULA community. Let's make this final push and bring the GULA cookbook from a far off vision to reality on everyone's kitchen counter!
