AlbertMing is a new menswear label that is bringing modern styling and high-performing fabrics to traditional tailored clothing.

The company was founded by two childhood friends, Ming Chang and Albert Shyy, who were frustrated wearing boxy-looking tailored clothing when they wanted to look sharp.  Inspired by the innovation in other more forward-looking parts of the apparel industry, we decided to launch a label that met the functional and aesthetic needs of today's generation of men.

Our apparel is tailored for modern men who want clothing that is comfortable, versatile, and stylish.  After successfully launching our Men’s Blazer on Kickstarter, we are ready to take the next step and introduce the Arctic Shirt. Much like our other products, this is no ordinary dress shirt. We’ve created an ultra-breathable, wrinkle-free dress shirt that offers water/stain repellency and a fitted modern style. 

Why this project: With the summertime quickly approaching, the heat and humidity leads to unavoidable summer sweat and a collar-loosening feeling of discomfort . To solve this problem, we've revolutionized the traditional dress shirt and created the Arctic Shirt, which contains tiny perforated holes to allow air in and moisture out, while concealing everything underneath. Maximum breathability in a unique, uncompromising style.

As if we couldn't make it any better, we've also made the shirt to be stain-repellent and wrinkle-free for optimal performance and ultimate comfort.  We're still testing the exact performance of the wrinkle and stain resistance qualities as we wait for a final version of our fabric, but we guarantee you've never worn anything like this.

So where could you possibly wear an Arctic Shirt? Anywhere, any occasion. You may be thinking this shirt is too good to be true, but we promise that you will be amazed at what it can do for you. It's perfect for biking to the office, taking the subway commute, or even going clubbing in Vegas (it will feel like a godsend during those scorching summer days and nights on the strip).

What are the funds for:  The shirt's unique fabric requires it to be custom-made, so we're looking to raise funds to help cover the costs of materials and labor for our initial batch of shirts. We've put a lot of preparation into designing this product to bring it to its full potential. With your help, we can continue to provide wardrobe innovation and design to modern menswear.

We're pricing our initial batch of shirts at an extremely affordable price of $25 as we truly want to get it out to as many people in the market as possible.  Our beta users have been raving about the shirt so we'd love to see it worn around the nation!
