Welcome To The Tropical Island Paradise That is Caribbean Blue!

Beaches, water sports, legendary monsters (and the heroes that keep them in check)... We have it all!

Wait... what?

Who was the cat eared heroine? What of her mysterious foe? Why is Tina always so hungry? ... What starts out as a relaxing vacation for a trio of friends soon turns into an adventure comedy as they seek to unlock the islands many secrets.

Caribbean Blue is a full color webcomic that has been in production since 2005. We are looking to release the first volume of the comic in printed form (about 100 pages), and eventually, volumes two and three.

Hello!

Ron Rodrigues here (aka Nekonny), artist and writer of Caribbean Blue. For the longest time now I've played with the idea of creating a printed version of the comic, and thanks to Kickstarter, you can help make this become a reality!

Our Goal:

Is to raise money to produce and print a preorder of volume one of the Caribbean Blue Webcomic. A massive amount of time and effort has already been invested into preparing CB for print, both on polished and updated artwork as well as improved and corrected text.

And yet, much remains to be done. Additional content needs to be created and I need to run the whole thing under the microscope again to make sure it's completely error free.

Never Read Caribbean Blue Before?

You can read the comic online by clicking here, keep in mind the artwork does get better as the story goes on (one of the reasons I've been updating the earlier pages). If you're a fan of manga style artwork, comedy and a dash of fan-service, you might find it very enjoyable.

Kickstarter?

Here is the gist of it. We have 32 days to reach our goal of $18000. You can pledge any amount you like! There are some sweet rewards available for you to chose from if you pledge above a certain amount. Heck, even after we hit our goal you may still contribute if there is still time left on the clock! (I can always place a bigger first run preorder). But once time runs out, all those extras will never be available again!

However, If we don't hit our goal, you guys don't have to pay anything. That also means that the project doesn't go forward... and there won't be a print! DX

And What If We Pass Our Goal?

I'm trying to come up with some awesome rewards for if we hit certain milestones past our goal, for now the main one I've thought up is a relaunch of the original TinaOnLine webcomic. Keep checking back for updates on this! Feel free to make suggestions for epic rewards and milestone rewards to my email (ronsresume at hotmail dot com).

To our most enthusiastic readers, this is an exclusive opportunity to get your hands on some of the original lineart used in the comic (see rewards sidebar for details). This is in very limited supply (only 50 originals available), so if you are interested, don't pass up this chance!

If you are feeling very generous, you can take it a step further and have your own custom cover drawn and painted by the artist!

SHIPPING:
Shipping is included in rewards sent within the continental US, there is a little extra that needs to be added for locations in other countries.

And what's next?

The comic will continue to be sold after this project completes all of its reward obligations, but it will be with the standard cover and no extras.

Depending on the success of this project, we may see volumes two and three also being released within the next year!
