You are VERY blessed. In your experiences, ceratinly; but also in the way in which you "ARE," your way of being in the natural world that allows those experiences to become blessings. xGlenn

Thanks for the update and am glad that you're out in the bush, even if it is muddy. Like the chameleon crossing the road - so it doesn't change colour so fast!

Going to Africa? See if you can get to the Etosha Basin, in the very north of Namibia, just south of Angola. Definitely one of my favorite places on earth.
Safe travels!

Zana, your work is so beautiful. Reverence is such the right word. That beautiful world of the 4 and 8 legged beings.Thank you for this" heart "project of yours and thank the creator for the insects. Love- Bryn D
Creator Rachel Bellenoit on October 25, 2010
I loved Born into Brothels and own a copy. I love insects. I have a copy of the documentary Microcosmos. Your teaser was wonderful and I hope you reach your goal and make your film. I can't wait to see it.
Creator Jeff Roberts on October 21, 2010
Beautiful. This HAS to proceed. Get out those visa cards people ! :)
Creator Dor Abrahamson on October 20, 2010
Zana,
Now that I've told you that "King Solomon's Camel" is Hebrew for Praying Mantis, I thought I'd bug you with one more. The Hebrew name for a Lady Bug is... "Rabbi Moses' Cow" [parat mosheh rabaiynu]
Scout's honor.
Go figure, but obviously it was once much more meritorious to be an insect!
Perhaps people actually wanted to be bugged!

Hi Zana. Can you tell us what music that is playing during the Reverence teaser? Sounds familiar but I can't place it.
Creator Pamela Martinez on October 13, 2010
Hey Zana!
Another awesome project from you! I can't wait to hopefully see this come to fruition. I am also a pro- photographer and musician, and believe we have to all work together to really make things happen.
I really find this particular project of yours so interesting! I developed a true fondness for photographing at first my garden from the beginning to end of the season, then found all the little creatures that inhabit and visit the garden even more intriguing. I have taken some very cool photos of these little and sometimes big beings. I sure learned to get over the fear of being stung or being bitten by a spider quickly! *grin*.
Much Good Luck with this, I can't wait to see this all come together!
~Pamela

Speaking of bugs, I'm also one of the few people I know who will catch bugs inside to let them go outside. Even the creepy crawlies, and sometimes because they are creepy crawlies.
Creator Andrew Edgar on September 30, 2010
I have been having intense encounters with animals for the past few years. My latest connection is with squirrels. In two days, I have made the noises they make, or talked to two squirrels for about 5 minutes each. It's the noise you make with your tongue to the roof of your mouth and then suck air in. It's not a "pretty" sound, but I have some squirrels very interested. Not all the animals are interested, not all "respond" in the same way, but I feel very connected to them and my way of connecting is by respecting nature, picking up litter, not littering myself and trying to communicate with them when I have the opportunity. I had an encounter with a baby crow almost a year ago, I talked with a cardinal for a while, and have had many experiences with cardinals in the last few months.
