cam archer has written, edited, produced and directed numerous, award winning short films, music videos and two feature films. his first feature film, WILD TIGERS I HAVE KNOWN, an official participant at the sundance screenwriter's lab in 2005, premiered at the sundance film festival in 2006 and was distributed theatrically across the nation by IFC films that following year. archer's second feature, SHIT YEAR, premiered at the cannes film festival in 2010, as part of their director's fortnight program. after a brief, fall 2011 theatrical run through CINEMAD, the film is scheduled to be released on home video in early 2012 by FACTORY 25. archer recently completed THEIR HOUSES, a 32 minute short film about his neighborhood, narrated by actress jena malone. the film will (hopefully) premiere at some point early next year. archer is also an avid still photographer and was a recent fellow at THE MACDOWELL COLONY in peterborough, nh.
