Abandoned is a First-Person Shooter taken place in an insane asylum, you play
as Bruce, a Government Agent who was recruited by the 'Agency' at the age of
10. Bruce grows up as a special ops marine for 'The Agency' his colleagues
begin to expose secrets about the agency leading to his time at the Insane
asylum as an ops mission. One of Bruce's colleagues Dom, had a cover as a
famous political figure who later exposed of the agency, and as a result of his
exposing them he is sent to the asylum. In the eyes of the public he is deemed
to be a madman. Bruce's mission is simply to go undercover
and be an inmate at the asylum, not knowing that the information ;leaked to the
public is only the first part leaked. The Agency did not know what to expect
while Bruce's colleague Dom was in prison. The Agency didn't know Dom had other
leads in exposing The Agency. The leak leaves the public outraged ultimately
leading to The Agency being shut down.
This is where the game starts, the Agency has been shut down leaving you trapped inside the Asylum! Your objective is to survive. The game has been in the works for almost a year now and desperately needs funds for a quality game experience!
Abandoned is being made by two teens who have a passion for making great games! The lead designer has been accepted to attend early college at the Academy of Art University to continue his efforts in a Game Design career.
All we need to get this thing launched is your assistance! Our main goal
is to pull together enough funding for better visual taste. Abandoned is an
"ALREADY" fun to play 3D first person shooter but
with your help it can be much MUCH better.

One of our goals was mainly to make this differ from most Indie Games and make it as high quality as it can get. The features in this game will blow some peoples minds - along with some great voice acting!
All the money will go into legal fees, marketing cost, better visual design, and a possible ESRB rating.
We also already been working on a Prequel game as additional content. (Cool? ain't it.)
Rewards! Rewards! We know you love em. Which is why we put just as much effort into them only adding more awesomeness to the gameplay.
Our Dev team favorite has to be the Golden Guns, who wouldn't want weapons of mass-destruction with a bit ol' shine?
As an additional to normal rewards we've added "Limited Rewards" to the list. Limited Rewards is essentially a coupon to bigger rewards pulling out certain items, each limited reward has a limited amount of people that can actually pledge. Get em' while it's hot!

Well sir, I'm glad you asked.
The team creating this wonderful game is entitled Black Lion Media, founded in 2010 created by gaming fans mostly producing visual media. The team later branched out onto more professional work, earning respect from the gaming community.
Black Lion Media's last fan work before moving on to creating videogames was a Halo 3 community montage entitled Sketch 2 which received well over 17,000 views, and even gathered the attention of Bungie the creators of the Halo series as well by posting an article about it.
Black Lion Media's, first successful game which was a tech demo of Abandoned won first place in the Semantic Seed competition, being also recognized also as the youngest there. (Sixteen years of age)
The demo eventually sprung into the evolutionary idea of what is known today as "Abandoned".

We are definitely trying to launch this thing in May, so some people should expect most of the rewards to come around the release of the game.

It sort of changed as development took place, the game itself is a First Person Shooter with some suspense elements added to it. So something in the mix from various horror fps horror games out today with a special twist.

I have been a graphic designer, and into visual media ever since I could ever remember. It's something I love doing. Even at my age, hearing "Professional" graphic artist saying my work is 'great' or 'good' makes it all the better. I'm really glad the way me and my friend handled this project Abandoned, it started out pretty small and I think it can be great.
