Hello kickstarters and thank you for taking a look at our project PLUG.
THE STORY
Stranded on a post-apocalyptic Earth inhabited by robots, Leila, a spunky twenty year old on a quest for other life forms, finds her survival in jeopardy when she succeeds.

We have 99% of the film in the can -- however, we want to return to the desert and shoot out a few last amazing stunts lead by A-list Stunt Coordinators Alex Daniels and Pee Wee Piemonte.
Although we have an amazing team working for free and significantly reduced rates, there are certain obstacles (like insurance and safety) that we can't avoid if we want to do them right. While we've been able to shoot the necessary pieces to complete the short, there are specific stunts and visual effects that would take PLUG to the next level.
As soon as we receive full funding, we'll return to the desert and shoot the last few stunts, finish visual effects and are anticipating a Fall release.

David Levy is a leading international concept artist, and CEO at steambot studios. He studied industrial design and architecture in France and the Netherlands respectively, and is currently working in Los Angeles, California as senior concept artist in the movie industry. He has contributed to titles for the PC, XBOX, and PS2, PS3, XBOX360 and recently worked on the development of "Prince of Persia 3", "assassin's creed" while at Ubisoft in Montreal and also "Tron legacy", "The Thing" prequel and "Prometheus" in Los Angeles.His unique interests merge video gaming, film and his industrial design background to create fantasy elements at many scales.
