New ship concept
Hey everyone, wanted to let you know we have uploaded a new concept showing off what we are able to do now in terms of creating amazing ships. One thing we have noticed with other space titles (including our own) is how static the ships always are. Considering you will be staring at the back of the ship (at least if you play 3rd person) all the time we thought it was about time someone made something more impressive and alive than a static ship with some particles shooting off.

We know the kickstarter timing is almost out, but through the raised awareness we have already had some great talks with both investors and publishers to make sure this game will happen! Again, sharing the word about the game is critical to our success no matter how the game is eventually funded.

I doubt that, I think they had a real chance. We only got 254 backers is not a strong line to approach a publisher with.
Starlight Inception got $150k and I thought its pitch was poor too. Squad Wars has better art, and seems more achievable to me. But its a really odd concept to ask people to give money for a free to play game. Low reward tiers should have been more attractive, its not like their game credits cost them much. Also the name should have made it more clear what the game was.

Starting to think the whole point of this KickStarter initiative was never about funding the project through kickstarter, but rather using it as a tool to show prospective publishers/backers that there was interest in even just the general spirit of the project.

Nice, if there had been more of this in the pitch and less talking about sci-fi shows perhaps you'd have more money pledged.
