Hey y'all,
Alright, this is it. I don't have much longer. It is time to get serious. It's been too long and I have been fronting on my peeps. I am ready to record the album I've been promising for years. It is now or never. I need to get this album out before my friends, family and body give up.
Here is what I need: a bit of studio time, a small amount of equipment and to have the album mastered and pressed to vinyl. But don't get it twisted, this isn't a charity case. There are rewards. I need to know that you are as serious about this as I am.
If you help me out, I promise you this album will hit you in the back of the head like a hammer.

Yes, I am opening up for Elliot Lipp (eliotlippmusic.net/) at the Boone Salloon on January 23rd. I also am playing an ambient show at Black Cat at the end of the month.

My 'producer' is holding all of the funds and they will only be used for costs directly associated with the production of the album. In fact, all of the rewards (aside from the actual record) will be paid for out of my own pocket, as will all other secondary expenses.

Once the project is funded, I am going to book several days at an out of town studio. The album might end up being me rapping about how I can't think of anything to rap about or about how I want a drink, but something is gonna come out.

Sometimes I start feeling down but I find that music and humor help keep me centered and thankful.

$3000 is a modest goal. I considered setting the goal at $5000. As it stands I still need to use some of my own funds and my friends and I will be doing everything DIY (except mastering). With extra funds, I will book more studio time and possibly press the album to 150 gram vinyl (instead of standard quality). Beyond that, I will use the remaining funds to trick out the album and rewards. I would love to make music videos for the songs on the album. If you enjoy my videos, please pledge.

The video was shot and edited on an iPhone. Kickstarter's video encoding is a lil busted so that is part of it, too. The album is going to be tight.
