About this project
Since the public's introduction of his work from animation and mainstream comics, Eric Canete has garnered critical acclaim from both professionals and fans alike as a luminary in illustration and design. ENCOR[e] is an art/exhibition style book containing 250+ images which includes materials ranging from his work in animation, comicbooks & film, all collected and assembled from his blog since it's inception in 2005. It is presented in hard cover, coffee table format and encased in a full color clamshell.
However you are familiar with Eric's work - either fan, fellow illustrator, or welcomed newcomer - the book offers an incredible and insightful experience through the artist's growth and continuing evolution.
An obscenely expensive version of this compilation was released in 2009 entitled PREMIER[e]. Since then, it has become a well sought after, highly coveted rarity. Unfortunately, due to its VERY limited production run (only 100 copies total), it's nearly impossible to find a copy.
Based on the targeted $15,500.00 budget, ENCOR[e] is intended to offer up a complimentary/re-designed book which still maintains the level of prestige associated with the previous publication, but at a more affordable price to the general public. How will maintain its prestige, you ask? ENCOR[e] will be limiting its print run to an exclusive 1000 copies. Obviously, we're going to need your generous assistance. And here's how your help with this project will be compensated:
-Every individual making a donation will be listed in the book as a contributor under their name and city.
- Donations of $10 or more will receive a limited-edition Eric Canete print exclusively produced and designer for this project.
Thank you for your help!

Encore will be available for the 2011 New York Comic Con.
