Our latest backer is Jacquelyn Tran, CEO of BeautyEncounter.com, the Fountain Valley, CA-based online cosmetics and fragrance retailer. Tran grew her family business from a garage-based operation into a multi-million-dollar corporation. She is EXACTLY the kind of success story that will be a huge part of Woman-owned. Thank you Martha Montoya of Los Kitos, for your generous support of Woman-owned! 

One of the very first woman business owners I interviewed early in my career, Montoya is founder of Los Kitos. She is an amazing cartoonist who used her talents to tell stories through characters that taught life lessons to young children. Her company continues to advocate for children. Her latest venture is Los Kitos Produce - a company that will help small produce farmers gain access to distribution in the nation's largest retailers.
