The Mumbles just recorded all the rhythm tracks (keys, bass, guitar, drums) for our new full length album, Annunciation St. Currently, we are sitting on 10 great songs without vocals or horn parts, all arranged and ready to go. So our mission, as it relates to Kickstarter, is three-fold:
1) We need to go back in the studio in Brooklyn with our very talented producer and amazing horn section to finish tracking vocals and horns
2) The record will be mixed in Brooklyn.
3) The record will be mastered at a professional facility in New Orleans.
Because this record is already a work in progress, we are asking the Mumbles' extended family to help with the middle part of this process. The Mumbles plan to finance the final phase of our project; i.e., the artwork and pressing of the cd, from the proceeds of our upcoming Winter 2011 tour.
When all the pieces fall into place, we'll put an absolutely beautiful record out into the universe and have you to thank for it!
