THE STORY
Andy and Joan Horner are the Christian founders of the Texas-based jewelry company, Premier Designs. Founded in 1985, the Biblically-based, direct-sales company has grown into a multi-million dollar business. This insightful documentary examines the process of producing the company’s 25th Anniversary Rally, where capitalism, charisma, and Christianity collide. It is by turns heartbreaking and lighthearted and provides a shocking, inspirational portrayal of family, faith, and unbridled success—a compassionate affirmation of life’s complexities.
FUNDING FOR WHAT EXACTLY?
I have spent the past 18 months researching, filming, and digging through archives. All the footage is ready, the equipment is purchased, and some great musicians are getting involved. The production stage is finished!
I have completed all of this work so far on my own time with my own funds. Now I need your help to finish the film and to carve out a place for it in the independent documentary film world. In recent years, she has exhibited work in galleries and film festivals throughout Europe, North America, and the Middle East. This is her first feature film!
