Rise - The Documentary Film Project
Beginning in 2007 Producer-Directors Tyler Bastian and Trevor Hill embarked on a journey to make a film that tells a story of a man Tyler met in Honduras over a decade ago. Rise is about Agustin, who is physically disabled from polio, yet has spent 50 years building a surprisingly advanced helicopter out of re-bar, bicycle parts and wood. His dream to take flight has inspired us to capture his spirit, attitude, and perspective in an emotional film about determination and the purpose of life goals.

The film has an original score by Kirby Heyborne and Tyler Hill.
Our objective is to raise enough funds to travel back to Honduras for final filming and to complete post-production:
- Sound mixing
- Color correction
- FX, Titles, and Final HD cut
- DVD Authoring
Total funds needed will be $8,000.00 We set the goal at $6,000 so we can at least get moving.
The final trip will focus on Agustin's living conditions and daily life challenges. We will stay with him in his home and try to capture an in-depth view of what he sees and feel each day.
