About this project
Hello, and welcome to the Kickstarter project page for NOCTAMBULOUS. My name is Kelvin C. Bias, and I am a New York City-based independent filmmaker. I am seeking finishing funds for NOCTAMBULOUS, my feature film directorial debut. We would like to raise $5,000 in additional funding to complete post-production and help as we move forward into the festival stage in the life of the film. I have directed seven short films that have screened at various festivals around the world, but this is my first feature. I am the writer/director/producer and I also play the lead role.
The film is in the final stages of post-production and the additional funding will help cover final sound mix/sound design and color correction expenses, errors and omissions insurance, as well as marketing costs such as DVD, promotional printing material, publicity, outputting the film to final format HD Camera and Digibeta Master tapes, film festival submission fees, mailing costs, etc. Once the film is completed marketing will be very crucial to the success of the film. All the hard work is for naught if nobody knows about the film, so marketing is an essential and important part of the process. We want to get the word out about what we think is a very unique and thought-provoking film dealing with the universal themes of life and death, love and loss.

This movie is not yet rated. If there was a rating it would be "R" for sexual content, nudity, some language and disturbing images.
There are many modest ways to reach the $5,000 goal: 250 people giving $20 each, 500 people donating $10 or even 5,000 people donating $1 each. So please tell your friends and family. Pass the word. It's the giving season. We thank you and greatly appreciate your support.

We will make the Blu Ray version of NOCTAMBULOUS available at the $50 donation level (or remain with a DVD if you still prefer that format).

Kelvin C. Bias is a restlessly imaginative filmmaker bombarding the world with
ideas as it bombards him; a creative collision is constantly occurring. A native of Southern California and a sports journalist by trade, Kelvin has thrived on the energy of NYC since 1995. He has also written and directed seven short films, which have screened at numerous festivals worldwide. NOCTAMBULOUS is his first feature.
