Why is it 35 dollars for an issue? Well, it's not really a magazine, consider it more an artist's edition, four times over. It's a niche product that stores like NY's Printed Matter specialise in. The paper and print quality is important to us, and because we're printing far below the amount that large-scale magazines run, printing becomes pretty expensive - but the exclusiveness also makes it that much more valuable. In fact, the actual cover price for it is $40, so if you order here you're actually getting a discount!

The first issue features four emerging photographers based in NY. It's a box, and it comes with four booklets, around 50 pages each (one for each photographer), deep with rich prints, in-depth interviews and conversations with other notable photographers. Stick around until the end of the video where we showcase who we'll be featuring in our first issue!

The best part - if in our sales we surpass the break-even point, the photographers get a shared amount of the profit. This means that they will not only get exposure, but funding for future projects!

On the internet we're already known under the same name as a blog that interviews a photographer every two days, and we've been getting some great feedback through our year-and-a-bit run with it.

If you so kindly decide to contribute to our project, the funds will go directly to the (high) costs of printing and eventually distributing the annual magazine. We could've made it a zine and done it cheaply, but we want to make it as legitimate as possible, and that's why we've taken so long and why we need your help! We can't do this without you.
