About this project
This Halloween Sleepy Hollow: Ride Across America will premiere across the nation! Several live radio drama troupes have partnered together to perform adaptations of Washington Irving's The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, in multiple cities over the holiday weekend.
In Boston the Post-Meridian Radio Players will be presenting the traditional version of the show as part of our Big Broadcast of 1954 performance. The Big Broadcast will feature our popular comedy/variety show The Frank Cyrano Byfar Hour along with an original adaptation of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow written by radio drama legend Roy Sallows (But Oh! What Happened to Hutchings!).
PMRP has provided an immersive Halloween experience for theatre-goers for over 5 years. Our performances take you back in time to the golden age of radio. You can see not only the actors but also the foley artists creating sound effects live on stage! From the 50s era staff to the classic candy available from our cigarette girls we bring an unmatched Halloween experience.
But to make the show happen this year, we need your help. We're raising funds in order to perform The Big Broadcast at the beautiful Regent Theatre. It's a classic theatre space that perfectly matches our immersive style and will allow us to thrill and chill our audiences better than ever!

Chris has been working on theater projects for several years now, helping to bring new and interesting stories to life. His first major project was Dracula with Theatre@First and directed by Michael Babish. Sleepy Hollow: Ride Across America is his first nation-wide project.
