Hi, I’m Luther Monday, of “Luther Monday & The Magic Hammer”. I’m another songwriter trying to fund an album. What sets me apart? …My passion for quality footwear, of course. That, and the fact that my album will make you think, weep, smile, and shake your booty.
I have created an album that some will like, some will love, and some will never hear because they are preoccupied with foot discomfort.
Along with some super-talented musicians, and the incredible Baby Buck studio in Oakland, CA., I have created a wonderful album.
By day, I teach Pre-Kindergarteners, by night, I rock. I also count my money by night, and I do not have enough. My goal is to print copies of this C.D. with covers, bar codes and everything. I yearn to get this music to the people.
I’ve got a lot of moral support from friends, fans and family, but now I’m going to need the support of the Benjamins; fifteen Benjamins, crisp or wrinkled and wet, I don't care.
If I don’t make my goal, you lose nothing, if I do make the $1,500 goal, I will be overcome with joy and you will get some great music. If I exceed the $1,500 goal, I will implode.
