One day I was driving outside of Columbus, Montana on my way to Bozeman. I started thinking about taking a trip to Europe for a month, I figured I only had a few months before student loans would begin keeping me captive, so why not  make use of the time and do something I've always wanted to do, take a trip to Ireland? I began putting together a map of the places I'd like to see, and noticed that they all have interesting legends. So I thought, why not make a film that not only catalogs the backpacking trip to Europe, but also explores the legends of the Emerald Isle?  We will be traveling to St. Audeon's Church, Montpelier Hill, Charleville Castle, Ross Castle Lodge, Kyteler's Inn, and Dobbins Inn, as well as other locations that we hope to discover along the way. Filming the people, places, and events we take part in, and exploring the fear that is attributed to "haunted areas," as well as addressing the uncertainity many of us have about the future, on the third of June, my compatriots and I will fly to Ireland, and spend three weeks immersed in the stories, myths, events, and legends that make up the country. We will film the places we go, the people we meet, and any paranormal we might find. This film will not so much be about proving that there is life after death, as it will be about exploring life as it presents itself on the road, in that brief interlude between our lives as students, and the unknown adults we are expected to become.
