We’ve gotten lots of requests for a shorter TiGr Lock and we’ve responded by making up some bows that are 18" long, 6" shorter than the original 24" bows we launched on Kickstarter. The 18” bow fits into my Timbuk2 messenger bag and my yellow REI backpack. I have to remove a wheel if I want to capture both wheels on my bike, but the 0.75” (19mm) wide x 18” (460mm) lock weighs in at just 15 oz. (206gr), That is nearly 20% lighter than the already super light 0.75” x 24” TiGr lock.
We produced a small number of 18" bows in two widths: 0.75" and 1.5". The picture below shows a new 0.75" x 18" lock next to a standard 0.75" x 24" lock. We have a few of the new sizes available for sale via special order.
The price of the 0.75” x 18” TiGr Lock package (including lock cylinder and straps) is $145 plus shipping (shipping within US is $15, to Canada is $30 and $50 to Europe and Asia). The 1.5" (38mm) x 18" (460mm) package price is $195 plus shipping.
