Why we need funds?

As we have developed a prototype and confident of what we need to do, but we can not develop all aspects of system on our own. We need to assemble a developer team to help us with implementing UI tools we designed, maintain the system and manage web applications we will support. Portion of the funds will be used to build unique engine to process design and generate ready template for popular applications. 

 It is important to understand that this is not an easy project, but we are confident that we can make it happen, and with support of contributors like yourself, this project can become a reality. Template development for web applications will change for the better because of everybody who contributes to this project. There is no way we can complete this project without your support. 

What will it cost to use TemplateArchitect?

Designing and building templates on TemplateArchitect website will be absolutely free with limit to 1 template per account. This is enough for anybody to get started with no payment or commitment.
As we aim to make as many tools as possible free of charge, there will be some small fees for getting final template generated and downloaded.
There will be membership fee or fixed price to generate final template/skin for download. We think about $29 per month or $5.99 for final template download.

What applications will be supported?

We selected most popular web applications based on research, but we will be adding more applications to support as we grow. Initially there will be ability to design templates for Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal, Magento, ZenCart, OpenCart and possibly 2 more candidates. 

When we will have TemplateArchitect ready? 

Our target date for beta release is by the end of 2012 and full production in first quarter of 2013. 

How can I help?

There is a lot of help we can get. Start by spreading the word among friends and people who work with web design and web developers and interested in this project become live. The more funds we can raise, the more developers we can connect to support more web applcaitions and add more features. There are more potential to this project than we even considered yet. Later on in the project we will need enthusiasts to help with testing beta version and provide the feedback. 

Who we are? 

We are 2 developers with over 10 years of web development and design experience. For this time we have over 2000 templates designed and developed for 10 different ecommerce applications. As a result we have great expertise in this area, and have created tools to improve, simplify and automate the process. It is time now to put these tools for better use and help others. 

What we will do and promise? 

As technology keep changing and progressing, it is very difficult to keep up with all popular applications and even more difficult learn all of them. What we offer is a solution that will help designers and web developers to create designs or templates for popular applications without any special knowledge.  As a designer, you focus on what you do best - create beautiful, unique designs. We will take care of building and maintaining the engine to convert your design to work on the applications of your choice .
