About this project
Our goal is to open up by the summer of 2010, but we can't do it without your help! We need your help to raise start-up money! No matter how much you can give -- five dollars or five thousand -- every dollar will help!
Our Mission. Our mission is to be a hub for community projects and movements in Portland. We seek to cultivate and support projects that promote community independence, self-sustainability, and mutual aid. The support we provide will take many forms: mini-grants, collective advising, resource referrals, networking, and more.
Through our bookstore and lending library we will offer a wide range of books, zines, music, and art - with the common thread of creating free, sustainable communities.
