Hey all! We have reached our goal of $1,000 dollars on Kickstarter which is great! We set this goal before we knew how wonderfully you all were going to respond though, and to actually cover the cost of the trip we need to keep raising money! Keep posting the link and supporting the group and help us kick butt in Boston. 

This is a video of us performing at the quarterfinals for the ICCA (the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella), where we are very proud to have taken third place. We used this video as our audition for the Boston Sings Competition and we are now hard at work preparing a new set to shock and awe our east coast competitors! We're so proud to be representing the University of Oregon on a national scale and we appreciate all of your support!

So what's this "Boston Sings" thing all about?

"Boston Sings" is an a cappella festival that includes a professional concert, a cappella workshops, a collegiate competition and the first-ever live CARA Awards Ceremony! This festival is a great opportunity for us to learn from some of the best professional groups and teachers in the nation.

What is the CARA Awards Ceremony?

Every year hundreds of groups like us produce studio recordings of their arrangements. These recordings are reviewed by a cappella music professionals and enthusiasts around the nation, and are nominated for awards.This year for the first time ever these awards will be presented in person at the CARA Awards Ceremony-- think Glee meets the Grammys. 

Why are you going?

Teenage Dream (a track on our newest album Strugglebus) has been nominated by CASA for Best Mixed Track of the Year. In addition to the exciting prospect of accepting an award in person, we have been invited to compete with five other top-notch groups from around the nation. Performing at the awards ceremony is a huge honor and we are very proud to represent the University of Oregon.

How can I help?

Pledge money! We're working really hard to fund this trip, but we can't do it alone. Whether the reason be our great prizes, a love of a cappella, or the desire to help provide college students with a once in a life-time learning experience, anything helps and we appreciate your support. 

While we're asking for $1,000 here, this represents a small portion of the total cost of the trip. Any additional donations beyond that goal will still be an enormous help to us in this venture!
