RNBW MZK (Rainbow Muzik) is the most recent project, by the hip-hop duo CPHR DVN. Based out of Louisville, Ky, CPHR DVN's latest album will focus on the commonality of several different genres of music. RNBW MZK will consist of songs that incorporate genre's that don't necessarily fall under the scope of Hip Hop or even alternative Hip-Hop, but share a common thread which is simply good music. CPHR DVN's members, Wize and Sultra explore and push the boundaries of several different genre's in placing them all on the same album, thus presenting a Rainbow of musical possibilities. RNBW MZK shows that music IS the rainbow and the genres are simply its colors. Wize and Sultra also believe this analogy can be used to explain the human race. Humanity is the rainbow and its different races, beliefs, cultures, ethnicity and religions are simply colors of the same rainbow.

We are raising funds to cover the cost of mixing, mastering, duplication, artwork, t-shirts and posters. $2000 is the bare minimum we need to cover these expenses and bring to fruition RNBW MZK! We only have 28 days to accomplish this goal, so we thank our supporters in advance and look forward to bringing you a album that will hopefully empower and inspire you. As of this moment we are wrapping up the recording phase of this project. We hope to have it completed and sent off for mixing and mastering by the beginning to middle of October and will be releasing the album sometime in late October/early November 2012.

‘CPHR DVN is Hip Hop's Ascension’: Wize Mathematiks and Sultra Diviine formed CPHR DVN while stationed together in the military, slightly over a decade ago, in Honolulu.

Their metaphysical hip-hop is influenced by sounds of Cape Verde (whence Sultra's family hail), Portuguese Ballads, reggae, Trip-Hop , Jamaican Toasting from the late 60s/early 70s, Classical Music, Sounds of Nature, modern rock & hip-hop, avant-garde singers like Bjork, etc.; and funkily interspersed with socio-political, positive, thought-provoking lyrics of a multidimensional nature designed to express love and healing -- with a danceable beat.

To summarize in their own words, they ‘are Hip-Hop alchemists, lyrical metaphysicists, and quantum dancers.’

They have released four albums, including last year’s IX KUTZ. . .Return of the Ninja! This album is based on the Nine Levels of Power, or nine cuts (as they are known) of Ninjitsu. Each song symbolizes one of these cuts in sequence, and the audience takes a ‘hip hop, a hippie, a hippie to the hip hip hop,’ following an intro track. And – even beyond – Wize is studying Music Production at Full Sail University and they are working on their next album RNBW MZK (Rainbow Muzik).
