Our Book: Flatmunder is a big 52 page, full color, 8.5" x 11" soft-cover children's book with an exciting, funny story that's designed to help families explore ways to play with life’s fears, large and small, and by playing with these fears, transform them into sources of discovery and empowerment.

Thanks to couples and family therapist, Dr. Saliha Bava who helped us develop the ideas around the power of play you'll find in Flatmunder.

Our Project's Goal: These funds will allow us to pay for printing and distributing our book, not only to young (and young at heart) readers but also to industry folks and opinion leaders who can help us gain a wider audience. The very simple fact is, when a child reads our book, we get very happy! That's why we're giving it away as a PDF and will continue to do so.

Our Story: When the little girl across the street tells Bernard there are flat witches in his bathroom, Bernard begins to worry... a lot. Then, late one night, Bernard meets a friend called Flatmunder who takes him on a search for flat witches. Over the course of one night, Bernard learns that when we change the way we think about things, they change too...

About the Authors!

Flatmunder is co-written by myself, Mark Greene and my son, Gus, who is six years old. He was five when he first became concerned that there were flat witches hiding in his bathroom. His wonderful imagination and natural child's ability to play gave us a way to solve his problem. We used story telling and drawing to move past Gus's fears and in the process, created Flatmunder! With your help, we can move our story out into the world.
