We sent out codes for your remaining pairs of Chivaz about a month ago. 

Believe it or not, there are quite a few of you out there that didn't redeem your code yet. 

Please check your junk mailboxes to see if it ended up there. If you still can't find it, please shoot us an email at cs@chivazwear.com or through Kickstarter. We really want you to get your Chivaz!

Hello again Kickstarter backers.

Things are really moving along nicely here at the Chivaz headquarters.

Phil and I are up to our ears in work and there seems to be almost no end to the amount of things that you need to do when you move from being a Kickstarter “project” to a full fledged business.

I assume that by now anyone who ordered a pair of either the red (Mountain Goat) or black (Stillhouette) Chivaz has received them. If you haven’t, then we have a problem. You should email us as soon as possible (cs@chivazwear.com).

Many of you opted to delay your shipment until 2013. Well, here we are in 2013, but the Chivaz are not quite ready. In fact, we are still working on getting the final date of when these will be ready. It is looking like late March is a possibility, but April is more likely. We honestly were hoping to get these much earlier, but we kept tweaking the prototypes until we were happy with the right sizes, elasticity and support.

These next styles of Chivaz will have a few improvements:
#1 - We will stitch the size of the socks on the inside of cuff of the socks. This way you won’t get them mixed up in the laundry if you bought more than one size.
#2 - Each pair has added ankle elasticity to provide a snugger fit at the skinnier part of your legs (doesn’t apply to those of you with cankles)
#3 - Each pair has a bit more elasticity at the top, so that they really shouldn’t fall down. If they do fall down, you probably have the wrong size...

There are other things that are improved also, but I don’t want to blow all of the good news while you still have a couple months to wait.

Hello Kickstarter Backers (the special code is at the bottom of this update),

Let me just tell you that it is really nice to write to you and not have to tell you about any more delays.

Chivaz is up and running and all of the Kickstarter orders have been shipped out. Anyone living in the US should have received their order by now. If you did not and still haven’t by Wednesday, please let me know right away (feedback@chivazwear.com). International people, I am not sure how long it will take, but let’s wait until January before we start freaking out!

There are still lots of you who have opted to wait for the other styles. We are expecting these to be ready in the later part of February. We have tinkered a bit with the material mix and added a bit more ankle support. They are looking and feeling awesome.

We have started to receive some feedback on the shipments and we are happy to hear that people have been showing off their legs, even in the dead of winter.

Dear Kickstarter backers, 

Thank you for your continued patience as you await your shipment of Chivaz. 

As with most Kickstarter campaigns, we have had our fair share of unanticipated delays, but we are now finished talking about that. We are happy to say that after several very late rainy nights in our garage headquarters packing boxes, we have finally prepared everything for shipment. If you filled out a Kickstarter survey with your style preferences and sizes, your package WILL go in the mail this week! We are aiming to have everything labeled by Tuesday evening to ship on Wednesday.

For all you USA people, this should be ample time to receive your gifts before the Christmas, but definitely cutting it close for Hanukkah! For all the foreign backers, we will try to get you more information once we hear what the post office has to say. 

IF YOU HAVE NOT FILLED OUT A KICKSTARTER SURVEY THAT WE SENT OUT A FEW WEEKS AGO, YOU NEED TO DO SO. GO BACK AND CHECK YOUR EMAIL’S BECAUSE KICKSTARTER WILL NOT LET US RESEND IT.
