A novel about a 16 year old girl coping with the loss of her mother, surviving high school and trying to become a woman all on her own.
My goal with this project is to simply share this powerful story with the world. On Wednesday Ocotber 18, 2000 I lost my mother to colon cancer, and it changed my life forever. This experience inspired me to write a novel, but it is not an autobiography. It is a novel, with real, relatable characters that bring the story to life. I've been working on this novel for three years, and on the tenth anniversary of my mother's death, it is now time to launch this story into the world.
HOW ARE YOU GOING TO SHARE THE STORY?
SImple- with your help! When you pledge a certain amount, you will recieve a reward based upon the amount you pledge. Most of these rewards include a copy of the book. The pledge amount is a pre-order of the book, to pay for publishing and shipping costs. Therefore there is no cap on how much needs to be pledged, my wonderful backers can continue to pledge as much as they wish. The more that is pledged, the more books that will be ordered. I just want to share this powerful story as a tribute to my mom. The book is written, and as soon as pledging is over, if the goal is met (or exceeded!) we can go forward with publication (which will be 3-4 months after pledges are received, possibly sooner). So hopefully by March you will have your very own shiny copy of "October Rain" in your hands! I will keep backers updated about the process along the way!

ABSOLUTELY! There is no limit to how much money can be raised for a project, and when you pledge, you are pre-ordering the book and paying for shipping costs. You can opt to not recieve a reward either and just pledge to help launch this book, there is no limit. The money is to pay for publishing and shipping costs. More money that comes in, the more books that can be published and distributed! Your support is grealty appreciate.
