Nothing to say except to echo Andreas. Book arrived on Friday, been going over it all weekend and it looks great. Really glad I backed this one.
The book just arrived and looks fantastic. Thank you!
The extra content will be ready this week! I've got the writing done, but I need to get art for the Ports of Call material and a map for the adventure scenario. Sorry for the delay!
So what's the latest on all the extra content? Really looking forward to that adventure, want to put a game together soon...
I just got my book, T-shirt and crew contract in the mail! Looks great!
Sorry, John, I just realized you were asking about format, not timing. The final version is a letter-sized full-color hardcover.
The print version should be coming in the next week or two!
Ran Bulldogs last night for my Tuesday night posse. Went really, really well and all of us are looking forward to the next game. I had to deforest the South of England to print out the PDF, so looking forward too the dead tree version. What format will the final print edition be in, Brennan?
John
Hey, I'm really glad you met your goal! Can't wait to play this! Unfortunately, I didn't get the PDF in my inbox.
Sending you a message! You should have received a link via e-mail. I'm resending it through the Kickstarter message system.
I haven't got the PDF yet!
I just showed this PDF to my table... we now are trying to convince someone to DM so we can all be adorable looking, murderous space teddy bears. Can't wait for the hard copy!!! :-)
I'm seriously looking forward to this pdf. I think it is going to get loaded on my nook color.
Wonderful, really impressive. That start truly got kicked.
Congratulations on the realization of all your funding goals!
Thanks, Fred. I'm thrilled too!
Great job, Brennan. I'm thrilled to be a part of the product.
Thanks, Jason!
Joined Kickstart for this game... Damn you for making something that sparked my intrest! :-) Congratz on making the 13k mark!
$13,000 was the dream! This covers absolutely everything (except maybe shipping costs, hardcover books are heavy!). This means we'll be starting regular sales with the entire project paid for, printing and all. Thanks so much to everyone!
Tim: Hot damn! Thank you!
Mike: Awesome! We drew you in...
There were two reasons why I joined Kickstarter today: Bulldogs! and Technoir
Boom.
Yes sir! Another update will be coming out later today to set our next goal and tell you all what will happen when we hit it.
Thanks everyone! This has succeeded beyond my dreams!
$10,000!!!
Awesome! Once we hit 10k, I'll be opening up a new premium reward and adding a new goal.
Closing in on $10k, captain.
I just wanted to drop in and say that you guys all rock.
Awesome, Joshua! Thanks!
I had a blank out and forget that I hadn't actually backed this kickstarter even though I've known about it since day one and was in the playtest. I'm however very happy that I put the project over 7000 with my backing
Yes, indeed! We've blown past the $7k goal. I'll be sending a new update later to talk about our new goal and what everyone will get if we make it.
Thanks for you support, everybody! This is beyond my expectations!
Ding Ding Ding! Past the 7k mark! Good stuff!
Yes! I'll be posting an update tomorrow.
Are there any further tidbits coming up this week?
Love it, Neal! That's a great quote.
As for the Urseminites, I'll make sure to include something in the next update.
So I was listening to the Backseat Producers podcast and they were reviewing Ice Station Zebra and they had a quote that reminded me of the picture of the captain on the main page, "This operation runs on a first name basis. My first name is Captain."
I seriously want to know more about the Urseminites. Nice picture of them on Galileo Games Facebook page.
Ya know, there is something about the art that I saw for this game which is what really sold me on the game. I don't know if this is a good or bad thing but it puts me in the mind of Titan AE, which was a movie I really liked.
Neal, good idea. This will be linked up some time today.
Is there any chance that the sample page shown can be a link to either a pdf version of the sample page or something that would allow a closer look?
