After a successful festival run, the award winning feature film DRAWING WITH CHALK is ready to take the next step:  Distribution.

Getting the attention of distributors is a daunting task... especially if you do not know anyone in the business.  Having someone with clout to represent you is vital and we've been fortunate enough to have someone come highly recommended.  Glen Reynolds of Circus Road Films has seen our film and truly believes in the universal message and appeal this film has.  He has come up with a strategy plan to approach the appropriate domestic distributors and to reach out to those individuals he feels will be moved by the film and see its value. Glen has sold numerous indie film such as ours and considering they only represent approximately 4-6 films at any given time we are honored that he is determined to help get DWC to the masses.  Once successfully sold, the film will be available on DVD, VOD, Cable, and Netflix to name a few.

This is where you come in...  There are retaining fees when securing a Producer's Rep (which also legally represents you in the deal).  We need to raise these fees which total $5400.00 ($900.00 per month for a six month contract which will can be extended at no additional fees; these fees include expenses, legal, etc).  I've done my research and am aware of the various scams that plague indie filmmakers and I'm confident that Glen is legit and will honestly secure a deal.  We've seen how audiences react to Drawing with Chalk and we want to make sure that the film lives on!

We currently have $1200.00 and need to raise the additional amount of $4300.00.  So, you may be asking why have we set our goal for $3000.00.... Good question!  Well most of you may be aware that we will only receive our funding if we've reached 100% our goal (if we don't, we lose everything).  I set the goal below what we really need so that I can at least get the ball rolling and those who back the project will have the opportunity to FINALLY get their very own copy of the film!  Of course we hope to raise the full amount of $4200.00, but I'd rather start of smaller and work our way up... :).  All rewards will be shipped as soon our project ends and we've reached our goal!
