About this project
I'm seeking funds to print the next installment of my comic series 'The Ballad of Toby & Sara.' In the previous installment 'Tracks 1-4', we were introduced to three individuals: Toby Jasinski, a record store employee, Sara Reynolds, a coffee shop barista who Toby has a crush on, and Ray Azzarus, a wanderer who arrives in their city, but whose history goes back thousands of years. Below is a description for the next book in the series, 'Meetings and Greetings,' which highlights the intersection of these three people:
"In the far off past, the man named Ray Azzarus was the archangel Rapha-el, sent on missions by a distant, hidden deity. In the present, however, he appears aimless and directionless as a traveler in the American Midwest, hinting at plans and hiding personal details. Will chance encounters with our two young protagonists help determine a new destiny for him, one unforeseen by anyone involved? Find out as 'The Ballad of Toby & Sara: Meetings and Greetings' continues the story of three people about to cross paths in the unlikeliest of ways. Also featured in this collection are the stories 'Visitors' and 'Crème Brûlée', previously uncollected stories that highlight supporting characters in our story of music, romance, and supernatural mysteries."
'The Ballad of Toby & Sara: Meetings and Greetings' will be 100 pages at a size of 7.5" x 7.5", and will have a first print run of 100 copies. Thanks for all of your interest and support in this project!
Previous chapters, as well as the comics that will be included in this collection, can be found at my website: www.msgierillustration.com/toby-sara.html
