Welcome to the Royal Snowboards Kickstarter project. I need your help to raise $10,000 for our pneumatic snowboard press and 1st production run of 30 snowboards!

Our stretch goal is $15,000. That will cover the cost of our first 100 snowboard production run. Our 2012/13 season goal is to produce and sell 100 snowboards next year.

Our mission: Provide riders with their own unique custom snowboards. "You don't have to be a Pro to feel like one!"

Our Story: It all started back in October. I was ready to purchase a new snowboard and couldn't find the one I wanted. I have been snowboarding for over 20 years and new exactly what I wanted. One day I stopped looking and decided to build my own snowboard from scratch. As word got out about my snowboard manufacturing aspirations, things just started taking off. My first snowboard sold to a Professor from the University of Utah. After that, people I know where asking for boards. By the time I had finished all the requests it was the end of January. I have been riding my demo board all winter and built four full custom snowboards. All of them were hand built by me and I absolutely love it. There is nothing better than seeing peoples faces light up when they get a snowboard specifically designed for them.

Why I need your help: I realized that vacuum pressing takes way to long. I can only turn 1 snowboard in a week. In order to have a chance at making a viable business, I have to purchase a pneumatic press and the parts for my first 30 snowboard production run. With the new press I can produce up to 5 snowboards per day. With your help I can order supplies, then I can build an inventory of 30 production snowboards for early shipment in August 2012.

Your Kickstarter Donations: All your donations will pay for the great Royal Snowboards rewards in this project, and will complete our press and the first production run for the 2012/13 snowboard season.
