THE PUEBLO INCIDENT: In 1968, north Korea captured USS Pueblo, keeping its men prisoner. (According to north Korea, the Navy men were livid that they were being kept from having sex with each other!) After almost a year of literal torture, they were finally set free. You will get the copy of Pueblo Commander Lloyd M. Bucher's book "My Story" SIGNED by him (years ago) that was used by me as research, and I will sign it as well. You will also get the rewards from the LEADER level. A great piece of Americana, and an integral piece of this project!

GREAT TEACHER OF JOURNALISTS: I will personally skype with you (or your book club or organization), answering any questions you might have about how publishing really works and offering any advice I have. A great opportunity to pick the brain of someone who knows the book industry at the highest levels. I will gladly discuss north Korea instead, or working with Harvey Pekar, or anything else from my resume. You will also get the rewards from the LEADER level.

FIELD GUIDANCE: I will come to your organization and deliver a one-hour talk about north Korea, either a general presentation or focusing on any aspects you desire. Yes, I will be in the People's Suit that I got in Pyongyang! (Airfare/lodging not included). You will also get the rewards from the LEADER level.

PARTY CENTER: In addition to the Skype talk offered under GREAT TEACHER OF JOURNALISTS, I will edit any piece(s) of writing you have (up to 30 pp.), with specific feedback and criticism for the future. ANTI-JAPANESE HEROINE KIM JONG SUK: Artist Molly Crabapple will paint one lucky comrade in a 10 x13 revolutionary style portrait, in ink and watercolor. An amazing opportunity to get immortalized by the People's Artist. You will also get the rewards from the LEADER level.
