'Honeypot Floatoshoot' Awareness Party at the Globe!
The Globe, Downtown Athens - Tuesday, April 17 7:00-9:30PM
12 Honeypots to be given away to the lucky winners - one every 15 minutes!
My estimate is that in the last 16 years Athens Georgia residents have bought over 30,000 Honeypots! My current goal is to make all of Athens aware of this Kickstarter Art Project and get 12,000 Athenians to 'vote with a buck' Just a $1.00 Pledge. If that happens this Project would be extremely high on Kickstarter's "Most Popular Art Projects Page" (Like #1 Big Time). And a lot of people would find out about the Floatoshoot Project that wouldn't have otherwise.
It is true that all money raised on this Kickstarter Art Project must and will go to offset Floatoshoot travel expenses, cost of reward fulfillment, shipping, developing the prints for the Lyndon House "Go With the Flow" Art exhibit and Kickstarter & Amazon fees. Those are their rules.
However, I do think it is important to spread the word about this Art Project because The resulting photography is beautiful and compelling! Folks need to realized that there are many ways those organizations with missions to care for and protect our valuable waterways can use my efforts to increase their own educational capacity, fundraising, etc. (Please visit our Beeswax & Botanicals blog to find out more) then even if they know that the money raised here does not fund a 'charity', it does fund an Art Project which, once executed, will have a wide-ranging powerful residual effect beyond just the "Art" itself!
So please help me out by letting your friends in on it. And if you can make it Tuesday Night to the Globe, bring some friends with you and lets build some solid grassroots support to boost this into a whole new realm!
