I want to bring "Jackson Pollack" style of paining to the Camp Quest Oklahoma 2012. This camp is for ages 8-16 with 50 total campers.
I have been involved with Camp Quest since 2010. Last year I volunteered at Camp Quest Texas 2011 and had a blast. That year I was assigned the position of medical officer. This year I am going as a volunteer at the very first camp in Oklahoma.
I wanted to bring an art project to the children that would not only keep their attention...but i wanted it to be a lot of fun. I have always enjoyed what i call "Pollack" style of art. Its fun and messy...which are the most important elements in keeping the children focused.
This money will be used to buy all the paint and supplies needed along with drop cloths and canvases so that all 50 projected campers can take home their creations. A small portion of this money will be used to ship the art that my large donors will get.
50 campers means that at least 5 sets of supplies will be needed to hold the art session allowing me to have 5 children painting at a time.

The dates for camp are June 24th thru June 30th.
