We thank you for taking the time to see what our project is all about!
Picture Perfect Clique has been described by a New York Times reader as "your grandmother's favorite rappers". We are a fun loving hip hop band that is committed to changing the face of hip hop.
After hearing a countless number of songs that sent out messages such as "go sell drugs to be cool", "beat someone up to get ahead", "lie about all the money you have to make people think you are rich" and " be promiscuous to get the boys to like you": We decided that it is time for someone to make an album that speaks about real life and sends out positive messages. That someone is us!
We need your help raising $6,500 to record our album, this money will pay for studio time, mixing and mastering and pressing CDs to distribute all around the world. We have a unique challenge in doing this on our own because Picture Perfect Clique is made up of a mixture of starving students and single mothers so we really need your help getting this album recorded.
In our efforts to avoid all the shady guys who have given us the "I can make you a star" pitch, we have decided to take control of our own careers and stay independent as long as we can but we can not do this alone and that is where you can come in and make our dreams come true. Please donate to our project and help us bring the smile back to hip hop!
