Dear friends,

Just wanted to let you know that we're very busy filming down in Memphis and everything is going very well! We've been reviewing the footage and it looks great, we're so excited to share it with all of you!

On the rewards front, we've been so busy filming that we got behind on shipping but if you did pledge for a reward you'll be pleased to hear that we're sending everything out this week via USPS.

So look for your awesome rewards sometime next week (fingers crossed on that, we all know the postal service is a bit poky) and thank you for your patience! We hope you enjoy your well-deserved reward!

Once again, thanks to all of you for pledging to the Big Star Story! We're deep into production down in Memphis and everything is going great!

If you pledged to receive a reward and haven't sent us your address or made your selection please do so ASAP! We need to order all the CDs, vinyl, box sets, books, etc. to get these out to you so please respond to the email and let us know if you want your stuff!

I can't thank all of you enough for your generosity and outpouring of love for this project. It's been completely overwhelming! But it just goes to show how loved Big Star is so we can't wait to get down to Memphis and finish making this film so we can get it out to all you amazing people!

There's still a week left and even though we have almost doubled our goal if you know people who love Big Star then please send it out to them and encourage them to pledge. Any further funds will go directly to the post-production phase and will be much needed and appreciated. Just under a week left so spread the word!

And on the rewards front, all of you who have pledged for rewards should be getting your goods later this month or early June. We'll be in touch regarding the specifics of your rewards once the Kickstarter is over.

Our crew is set and we'll be traveling to Memphis early next week for the tribute show and a month of filming in Memphis - all because of you!

Thank you friends! Because of all of you not only have we reached our goal but we're over that and counting and we did it in 24 hours! Unbelievable. Because of your generous pledges we can now finish production on the film and start editing so we can share our movie with all of you, and we can't wait!

If you still want to pledge there are still many amazing rewards to be had! We may have reach our goal of 6,000 but any further money pledged to the project will go directly to the post-production phase of the film. So if you haven't pledged already and would still like to check out our video, take a look at our rewards and pledge if you like. We can definitely use more funds for the editing phase of production! Every little bit helps as well and hey we have tons of cool records, box sets and CDs to give out. It's a win-win!
