I didn't even know there were "premiums." Wow. Good luck with the project. I am so happy to be a teeny part of it. - Sarah Thyre
hey thierry,
yes, of course. choose one of the three.
thanks again,
drew
A quick question - do we get to choose which of the three Big Star LPs we get at the $35 level? Thanks! And best of luck for the upcoming show!
Wow! Look at the pledges!
So incredibly excited for the show on Saturday.
We are so happy for you guys. And how great is Kickstarter? It must be amazing that your pledge goal has been doubled? What an opportunity for you guys and you get to cover a great band. There seems to be a lot of support out there for you guys and Big Star. Sorry to hear about Alex. I just read a couple articles in Rolling Stone about SXSW and Big Star. We're looking forward to seeing the final product.
Thanks again to all who have donated. I think our young film making friends underestimated the response, therefore many of the rewards sold out before anyone could have imagined. The kickstarter rules do not allow replinishing these, as I understand it, but if you want to help, just donate, email me and be honest, and I'll send you a personal thank you. Better yet, step up and donate at one of the levels that are not yet sold out. These are really good folks with 2.5 years of work already invested in this. They merit your support.

oy vey - i live three blocks from the temple but didnt make the show.
thanks van! yeah, we can definitely really use more money. i'm working on the budget now.
Anyone who ever loved Big Star music in any or all of its various incarnations should dig deep and make a donation. This documentary needs to be out there, to tell the story for all of the many who have been inspired by this music and for all of the generations still to come. And besides--I'M IN IT. So, there's that....
I'm so happy to be able to contribute to this, but that's only 1/100th as happy as Big Star has made me!
BTW - I think you have a typo in the Pitchfork media quote. :)
Can't wait to see the film. Thank you!
Peter
Thanks for taking the time to create such an endearing and meaningful film. I cannot wait to see it! Rest in peace, Alex.
thanks j. romeo,
yeah egregious error. there was also a typo. we're uploading a new version now. be up in 20 min.
thanks,
drew
Loved the trailer... they need to fix the date of Alex's death as it says April 17 not March 17... but I;m sure they are aware...
