Kickstarter

Thanks to ALL of you, our trip to Oz was a success! Everything went smoothly and our costumes were the best they have EVER looked - all because of every single person who was kind enough to donate to this Kickstarter. 

The weekend Festival was great and the shows on Monday for the school kids were the most fun we have all had in a very long time. 

In addition to our Oz parts, Nolan, Ricky (Dustin's replacement), and myself also played to roles of Hickory, Zeke, and Hunk -  the Kansas farmhands. We performed an original dance choreographed by Nolan and Ashley sang Over the Rainbow 12 times a day throughout the weekend festivities. It kept us on our toes and got a great response from the crowds!

For those who are to receive rewards, I will begin to send them out on Friday. 

To all of you who have donated up until this point: THANK YOU!   We are beyond ecstatic that we have surpassed our goal, and we are so thankful to each of you that helped us reach it. Over the last week, we have begun to make Ashley her Dorothy costume, Sean's new Scarecrow, and just purchased the fur for the Cowardly Lion. Dustin will be petting himself ALL day.  All systems are a GO! 

Please continue to share our link.  The more money we get, the more we can add to the performances (I.E. new characters, etc) to create a more involved show for the school groups. 

We are only two weeks away from our end date, and we are so close to our goal! We have begun to purchase fabrics for the new costumes, as well as a new latex Cowardly Lion prosthetic face piece for Dustin. We are extremely excited, and cannot wait to get to North Carolina in a few weeks! 

Remember, once we reach our goal, please continue to forward this on to people. This was the bare minimum we needed to be able to attend and be a part of this event. The more we money we raise, the more we can do with our performances on Monday!
