This is the story of a seaside town called St. Forget.
WITCH KNOTS is a loving tribute to classic sci-fi, fantasy clichés and the great young adult fiction of the 60s & 70s... All the magical books from my childhood. THINK: an S.E. Hinton coming of age tale, stuck inside a dystopian world of Ray Bradbury's, with a dash of H.P. Lovecraft mythos.
THE STORY SO FAR:
The WITCH KNOTS book is based on a collection of web comics I made from 2009-10. After 200+ comics, I realized the story was meant to be more than just a web comic. In 2011 I focused on revisions and peer editing. Finally I have arrived at a full-color graphic novel that is ready for the printers!

Every dollar is another vote to encourage me to excel at my craft. More 'votes' means better projects from me in the future. That includes more/better comics, animations, games(!?) and cartooning workshops (if you're local to capital region NY).

To put it simply: I am investing in my audience.
As you may know, it's expensive to self-publish a short run of full-color books. Higher pledges means I am able to afford extra printing options. Better books for all!
This project is about sharing my book. But it's also about making my work more accessible to new fans. Extra funding left after all printing and shipping costs goes towards developing a series of animations based on the WITCH KNOTS stories.
