“Batman for a Day” one of a kind project, themed, doesn't fall in the usual category's. A Music Film to inspire our everyday heroes!

BAT MAN: [bat-man] noun,                                              - Self starting problem solver 

No one ever made me play piano yet, it was in my blood.  And with the inspiration of many, I was able to develop my abilities.  Through the years, I persevered through all types of obstacles to obtain the knowledge that I have today and to be able to use it as I have.  I relate to Bob Kane’s creation only in the way that, had fate not interfered; I wouldn’t be able to do the things I can so comprehensively.  [However my road, though it was a hard one, wasn’t nearly as tragic as Batman’s]

I started playing piano at the age of 4.   I learned the guitar and the bass at the age of 14 and the drums at the age of 21.  I studied music as a voice major throughout high school and college, but fell in love with the theatre in college as I was allowed to explore my presentation and expression of body and mind leading me to receive a B.F.A. in theatre.  Through the years I dabbled in acting in small films, developed my musicianship and self presentation which took me across the globe allowing me to better define the direction my fate has had in store for me.

In my travels, I’ve had the privilege to meet and talk to all types of people from all walks of life. Now I find my self making a type pf movie that technically doesn’t have a definition. I am blessed to have a style which is much of my own. I’m proud to have emerged from such a diverse pool of knowledge to make me, although it’s been hard, one of original thought, much like Batman.

In this film, the thought process behind the ones, the heroes, that walks in day to day life is truly one that all can relate to.  They do not have time to ponder their gifts as their individual gifts are part of their normal life. It just so happens, that when the time comes, they are finally able to use those talents effortlessly in solving the problem at hand.   The exploration of being who they are, how they feel, and how they deal with being the one who has to be part of the solution and will never settle with the unresolved.   With all of life’s complexities around those who have the calling at the right time, it is with that opportunity that we get to be “Batman for the Day!” 

Gothic Comic Concept Album

Why this title? This music journey has more to it than the average music album. “Batman for a Day” adds visual unique comic art to this album’s over all theme.  There is visual support in not just a few, but all songs on the album.  As far as I know, there hasn’t been a project like this in the past that wasn’t simply live performance coverage, or accumulated random music videos.  “Batman for a Day” is a one of a kind project that has an over all theme, yet doesn’t fall in the category of just being an animated film short.  It is a true music film.
