The e-Book rewards were sent to you today as e-mail attachments. The process of formatting and sending the e-book to our backers turned out to be rather complicated and cumbersome, but we think we came up with a solution that will be workable and as convenient as possible for everyone.

We decided to send the book as a PDF file which is a format that works on almost every computer and mobile device out there. We tested it as best we could on the equipment we have available to us and it seems to work great. There are actually two versions of the book that you will receive. One is optimized for display on a computer screen and the other is optimized for tablet devices. Both will work on either type of system, but the experience will be better if you use the version that's optimized for the device you're using.

The book will open in full-screen mode, which hides all the navigation tools of Adobe Reader or whichever reader application you may be using. To advance the page, just click your mouse on the page or use the arrow keys on your keyboard. If you want to get out of full-screen mode and still keep the book file open, press the escape key. On a tablet, swiping your finger across the screen should turn the page.

We really hope you enjoy the book. We hope you'll post comments here to tell us what you think of it. We'll post another update soon to let you know how to order printed copies of the book. We're also working to schedule an exhibition of several prints from the book at Lakeland Community College. We'll let you know more about that once arrangements have been finalized.

Getting our ISBN number and barcode for the book was a little more complicated than we would've imagined.. but the book is all done! The orders have been put through and will be arriving soon. For those of you who are expecting an ebook, we have to make a couple more decisions about displaying it on the different types of tablets and smartphones. Things are coming together, thank you all for being patient with us!

Kesley and I never would have thought that we'd ever take this many photographs in one summer! It's taken a while to edit them all, but that part is finally completed! The book is almost ready to send out to the printer, which means the eBook is almost ready as well. We cannot wait to get them out to all of you.
