Ann and Phelim Media is an LA based film production company, dedicated to creating films that tell the truth and entertain. We produce stories that not only move audiences hearts but also their minds.
Phelim McAleer and Ann McElhinney are journalists and filmmakers who previously made the documentaries Mine Your Own Business and Not Evil Just Wrong.
Ann has produced documentaries for the BBC, CBC (Canada) and RTE (Ireland) and wrote for the UK Sunday Times and the Irish Times.
Phelim was a foreign correspondent for the Financial Times in Eastern Europe. He also covered Romania and Bulgaria for the Economist. Before that he covered Ireland for the UK Sunday Times and worked at the Irish News in Belfast.
They have worked as filmmakers and journalists in many countries including Indonesia, Romania, Vietnam, Cambodia, Uganda, Madagascar and Uzbekistan.
