CAN WE ACHIEVE OUR GOAL?
Absolutely!
$20,000 dollars may not be much by Hollywood standards, but it is a great start for an indie-film. Can we achieve our goal? I believe we can exceed it! A higher production budget can result in a higher production value. This increases the value of your rewards and our project.
THE PROJECT
Peril is a science fiction action-thriller we plan to shoot in the near future. Before we can do this, we need to finish a short-film (proof of concept). This will show interested investors and industry creatives that the project is a worthy investment. Thus, we need your help! Please support us to execute this ambitious indie-film project!
All monies raised will go towards pre-production and production of the short-film (proof of concept). If we exceed our project goal, the exceeding money will go toward the pre-production of the feature length film.
The funds raised will be used for equipment, sets, props, casting, and to help support living expenses during the shooting of the short-film. During the production we (freelancers) have no income as we dedicate all available time and resources to the project. In other words, Peril will be our full-time job and we will invest our time and money to support the project.

THE MANY FACES OF CAPTAIN VANESSA BAINS
Vanessa Bains is a tenacious and ambitious individual who embarks on a journey which will define her as a heroine and interesting character in the sci-fi genre. She is smart, bold, sexy and flawed in some ways. We decided to cast her as a black female. Making her character even more interesting, because in this genre we simply do not see black women depicted this way in films.

WHO IS LT. RICARDO CRUISE?
Ricardo Cruise is one of the antagonists in PERIL. He's a skilled officer with a hidden agenda. He is cocky, arrogant, brash, and sometimes a jokester. He is also Vanessa Bain's biggest adversary. He will do whatever it takes to survive, even if it means everyone else dies.

TEAM PERIL IS PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THAT HIGHLY ACCLAIMED AND AWARD WINNING GERMAN COMPOSER-ORCHESTRATOR-ARRANGER ROBIN HOFFMANN HAS AGREED TO SCORE "PERIL" THE FEATURE FILM!
Robin Hoffman worked on several feature film scores, including SAVE ANGEL HOPE, TELL, MORGEN IHR LUSCHEN and LIEBLING, LASS UNS SCHEIDEN. He co-composed the award winning musical DÄLLEBACH KARI and orchestrated highly successful game music scores such as ANNO 1404, BLACK PROPHECY and HALO LEGENDS.
Besides his work for media he also writes music for several international artists such as SARAH CHANG, RUSSELL WATSON, THE LONDON SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA, THE LOVEBUGS and others.

We have begun sending out query letters for product placement endorsement deals. Also we will be doing additional casting after the campaign has ended. Character sides (descriptions) will be posted on the official Peril website soon.
