Hey everyone! I am shooting this awesome and epic horror film later this month. I am really passionate about this movie and I have all my resources gathered. I have some amazing actors and actresses(Deirdre Herlihy). I have an outstanding DP(Ryan Balas from Robel!). And I have a great location(Rockford,MI). I have really been inspired by classic horror flicks and I need your help to make my movie the best it can be. Every dollar will be stretched to really create a great film and it will really be worth it because this film is so important to me and I can't wait to make it. Your money will go solely to the things that are needed to actually make the film such as: PROPS, wardrobe, legal crap, color correction, score. How did 'The Holy' come about?

I grew up being so afraid of horror movies but I kept watching more and more. Then I sadly hit a strange roadblock in my mid teens where the movies I was seeing weren't scaring me at all. In fact they were just awful. Im not talking about indie movies because I do believe thats an acquired taste which I love but these were hollywood movies. Don't they have enough money to at least scare me?? I guess not. But a few years later I met my girlfriend who LOVES horror movies. She got me back into it! We had to dig but some really scary movies came out. Insidious and The Innkeepers for example. Then since netflix is available we watch classics like Evil Dead and the Exorcist. They were still scary even after all these years.So what I wanted to do was mix the two generations and put my own little twist on it with a RobelFilms feel as well. It turned out amazing. With Ryan Balas as DOP the movie is beautiful and horrifying all in one. Production is done but now Post is in action. We are getting it scored and colored and tweaked. That all costs money.
