Clara is a graduate film student at USC's School of Cinematic Arts. Previously, she matriculated Dartmouth College with a BA in Creative Writing and Theater, graduating cum laude and with High Honors. Clara's thesis, a novella, won the coveted Sidney Cox Prize for excellence in fiction, as well as the Richard Eberhart Literary Contest. At USC, Clara has been awarded two faculty-deliberated scholarships for excellence in cinematography. Clara's first feature length script was a finalist for the First Cut Film Series competition, and Clara's second feature length script was a finalist for the Sundance Screenwriter's Lab. Currently, Clara is in pre-production for her short THE ARGUMENT, researching her third and fourth feature scripts, and interning in the writer's office of Mad Men.
Since the age of seven, Clara knew she wanted to make movies. The only thing she's known of for more years of her life is her affinity for cupcakes.
